The scene is set. The sleepy town of Medford, N.J. settles in for a quiet Saturday night, but through the trees and into their windows streams the sound of salvation. No, it's not the sweet hymns from a distant church or synagogue; it's not a rouge flash hippie campfire ...
...But it calls them to their cars and SUV's ... It leads them across the roads and pikes into the parking lot of THE INDIAN CHIEF TAVERN. They can't resist the flavor of the food, booze or music. They open the door and fall to their knees as the fractured poetry of a strange kind of music makes their heads shake and their hips heave. "What is this melodious cocktail I cannot resist, brother?" ... "Tis the truth and testimony of Rock 'n Roll Psychotherapy, my lost Garden State lamb - Heed it while you dance until your joints swell with fresh blood!"
Tony & The Heavy MeNtal Gypsys will get things started with a tight set of Rock 'N Roll Psychotherapy, and then our good friends JAILBREAK will rock "THE CHIEF" until the wee hours of the morning. Will you swell with fresh blood, or sleep in the festering muck of rotting old age? What will you do? The South Jersey Saints where to present a tribute to the music of Woodstock at this show, but their performance has been moved due to scheduling conflicts. Details to follow soon on a date in September! * * * * * * * * *
